HELP US IGNITE JEWISH SOULS AND REBUILD OUR NATION
IN THE MIDST OF WAR AND BEYOND.
The FACES INTERNATIONAL ISRAEL'S OSHPIZA Jewish Unity and Hospitality Center, located in the heart of Jerusalem’s Old City, is a shining beacon of warmth and connection for every Jew. Here, we provide the tools to deepen a relationship with Hashem through Torah and mitzvot, offering a sanctuary of spiritual growth and unity.
For years, the Behar family graciously opened their home to Jews from all walks of life, creating a true haven of hospitality. As the gatherings grew beyond all expectations, accommodating over 120 guests became a challenge. To sustain this incredible effort, they sought a dedicated space and the support of partners to help cover the costs they had shouldered alone for so many years. This vision gave birth to the center. Thousands have since experienced the transformative warmth of their Shabbat and Chagim table, inspiring many to deepen their connection to their people, their land, Torah, mitzvot, and Hashem.
With Hashem’s blessing, the OSHPIZA Center has blossomed into a vibrant hub of Jewish life. Thanks to the tireless efforts of devoted volunteers, Rabbeim, and the unwavering support of our beloved parents, Jose and Juanita, OSHPIZA now offers a diverse range of impactful programming:
We are proud to host groups like Olami’s Akiva, NCSY, Birthright, and countless volunteers, building a community rooted in support and love. Every meal served at the center is under the meticulous supervision of Bedat’z Rav Rubin, ensuring the highest standards of kashrut.
Your support enables us to continue this sacred mission. Together, we can ensure that OSHPIZA remains a beacon of light and strength for all who enter its doors. We take pride in being a volunteer-driven organization with no paid staff. Our modest overhead covers only the essentials: facilities, utilities, accounting, and Shabbat meals.
PLEASE PARTNER WITH US TO CONNECT AND INSPIRE EVERY JEW.
On October 7, thanks to the support of FACES of America, FACES Int’l Israel, and hundreds of donors, the OSHPIZA Center transformed into a supply distribution hub. It has served over 5,000 soldiers, their families, hostage families, and those displaced by war. Thousands of tzitziyot, sefarim, Tehillim, blood drives, and donating sets of Shas to Yeshiva bochurim to encourage learning, as well as essential safety equipment,
have been sent to the front lines.
Now, more than ever, under the shadow of threats from our enemies, it is crucial to rebuild our nation with Torah and mitzvot, fostering a deep connection to our communities and ahavat Israel.
We cannot do this alone. We need our frum communities to join us in this mitzvah of hachnasat orchim and ahavat Israel through kiruv. Together, we can continue this vital work in Eretz Israel, ensuring a stronger, more connected Jewish nation.
Your support is essential. Join us in this sacred mission. Together, we can make a difference.

In the past few years, we have hosted thousands of guests, many of whom experienced their first Shabbat with us. Our aim is to showcase the authentic beauty and holiness of Shabbat through zemirot and divrei Torah. We've witnessed guests deepen their connection to Judaism, stay in Israel, form meaningful relationships, and even remarkable stories of several discovering their yichus and transforming their lives.
We work with Olami, NCSY, Birthright and others to provide a space for authentic Torah learning, simcha and achavat Israel. Many have decided to make the life-changing decision to stay in Israel to attend Yeshiva or Seminary.
We begin the day offering shiurim by Rabbeim that love to inspire Jewish guests who had not had the sechut to learn Torah yet. We will have Jerusalem Kollel scholars be at the center to learn with and answer questions from our Jewish guests.
In addition to providing life-saving equipment to those on the front lines, we provide a space for connection, Jewish life cycle and emotional and spiritual support for those IDF soldiers fighting on the front lines and their families.
If you are a frum single from 28 - 45, we invite you to reserve your place at this extraordinary event with a 5-star dinner, meaningful and fun activities, renown speakers and top shadchanim to assist in your process. There will be limited space and tickets must be purchased online.
This program began in 2021 when Mr. Behar felt that the Yeshiva Bochurim were getting very distractred from learning with smart phones. He would make a deal with them if they turned in their smart phones, he would buy them a steak dinner and return the phone at the end of the semester. The never got picked up, BH, and with the permission of the Bochurim, they would get discarded.
Help us acquire a Sefer Torah to be able to offer tefilah services and Tefilah 101 classes for our fellow Jews who come visit the Old City and would like to learn how to daven with a siddur and the beauty of aliyot to the bima.
Our learning incentive program with the Old City Yeshivas encourage bochurim go to the next level in their learning and to experience the beauty of Torah learning. In addition to sets of Shas, we give out gift cards to sefarim which reenergizes both Yeshiva bochurim and Seminary girls.
Due to the war in the Land of Israel, we have partnered with United Hatzalah and Magen David Adom to set up blood drives at Oshpiza in an effort to help save lives and promote achavat Israel.
